“I’m my worst enemy,” star says, admitting she is an alcoholic

As announced some time ago, Lindsay Lohan sat down for an interview with Oprah Winfrey, her first since she completed the court-mandated 90-day stint in rehab. It aired just hours ago and, among other things, she talked about how she was addicted to alcohol, but her worst enemy was herself.

Video of the interview isn’t available just yet, but Too Fab has comprised a “top 5 things we learned” with the highlights.

Lindsay, it seems, has stopped blaming everyone else for her problems and she’s tackling them head-on. They are an addiction to alcohol and Adderall, though she also admits to taking cocaine on more occasions than she let on in previous interviews.

She tells Oprah she loves both her parents now, having understood that “no one is perfect.”

“I don't blame anyone for my mistakes. I don't blame anyone for driving in a car while drinking. I did that and I'm not proud of it,” Lindsay explains.

“Alcohol. That in the past was a gateway to other things for me,” she says, when asked if she’s an addict and which is her drug of choice.

She also did drugs, but never became addicted to them. Lohan is adamant she only snorted cocaine, never injected it.

“I really haven't done it more than 10-15 times, of course I said 3-4 because I was terrified of being judged. I never felt good the next day. It's a party thing, people would have it and I'd do it. It went hand in hand with drinking,” she says.

In the same interview, Lohan describes herself as her “worst enemy,” and confirms reports that, indeed, she’s spent most of her hard-earned money on stupid stuff, like clothes she didn’t need, friends who were nothing but leeches, or expensive hotel rooms because she didn’t want to live in her own, bought and paid for apartment.

All things considered, Lindsay is determined not to make the same mistakes again, and to do whatever she can to prove to the world that she deserves attention for more than just her personal life.
