Lindsay Lohan admits to being a secret celebrity hoarder in upcoming television interview

Though she usually keeps her personal life out of the media, in the sense that she rarely opens the doors of her apartment for the cameras to come in, an upcoming episode of The Insider will change all that. A just released teaser for it shows Lindsay Lohan talking about her issues, like her problems with her father, as well as her hoarding tendencies, as E! Online can confirm.

The short clip shows Lindsay sitting down for a talk with Niecy Nash, while footage shown reveals an entire room converted into a shoe closet and other rooms where clothes are simply piled on furniture and on the floor. The shoes are carefully laid out, each pair in its labeled box, which also comes with a picture of what’s inside. The clothes, though, are an entirely different matter, as some of them hang neatly on racks in plastic bags, while others are simply scattered on the floor or build up in piles.

“Is Lindsay Lohan a Clean House candidate?” E! writes after the teaser was released. “The 23-year-old actress and tight-pants peddler has apparently let her clutter get out of control, according to an Insider teaser for an upcoming interview with Lohan. ‘It’s kind of a sore subject,’ she tells Clean House host Niecy Nash as the camera pans to a spare bedroom that hosts a forest of shoe boxes and a living room full of... well, junk. (And clothes and other stuff that probably cost a lot, but which look like garbage when all heaped together.)” the e-zine further wirtes.

“I just need to get rid of stuff,” Lindsay says. ‘That’s personal stuff that I have to, you know, work on,” she adds after a voiceover reveals her secret: she’s a secret celebrity hoarder. Granted, this shouldn’t come as a surprise since it’s only a short while that the actress admitted to being a shopaholic in the sense that she understood her shopping habits were completely out of control and that she needed help for it.

It’s not the money spent or, better put, thrown down the drain, that’s the problem here, it is being said in the media, but rather the fact that all this, all those items purchased and then discarded without as much as being worn once, hides a deeper issue, one for which Lindsay needs help. The episode of The Insider on Lohan should air soon – meanwhile, check out the teaser below.
