LiLo is a horrible driver with a healthy sense of humor

Much like Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan has arrived at a point where, if people want to mock her, she is the first to join in on the fun. The actress has joined the Esurance team for their most recent commercial, which aired last night during the Super Bowl 2015.

Lindsay Lohan is a terrible driver and she’s got the track record to prove it: not only did she clip a baby in a pram once but she also rear-ended an 18-wheeler and totaled a Porsche during production for Lifetime’s hilariously bad Elizabeth Taylor biopic “Liz & Dick.”

She then tried to make her assistant take the fall for it, but that’s an entirely different story.

So she’s a terrible driver and she knows it. However, considering that money doesn’t just grow on trees and her acting comebacks haven’t really taken her anywhere, a check is a check, so she is suddenly not adverse to poking a bit of fun at her own hellraiser image.

This is how this Super Bowl 2015 ad for Esurance came to happen, in which Lindsay pretends to be a kid’s mom coming to take him home from school, while displaying some truly horrendous driving skills. The idea is that she’s “sorta like” his mother, but that’s not enough: mothers and insurances can never be “sorta like,” apparently.
