14 DAY TRIAL // Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen’s troubled ex-wife, happens to be rehabbing at the same facility as oft-legally challenged actress Lindsay Lohan, the prestigious Betty Ford Clinic. According to new reports, Brooke is almost totally stalking Lindsay at this point.
But LiLo is having none of it, an insider says for Radar Online.
Admittedly, Brooke is yet to give up dreams of becoming a celebrity on her own and, since she pretty much burned all her bridges, she thinks that becoming friends with Lindsay might help her with that.
After all, she wouldn’t be the first person in showbiz to become famous by association – and she hopes all this publicity she’s been getting lately will land her a part on a reality show or a sitcom, at the very least.
Radar writes that the two attend the same nightly meeting and Brooke has been desperately trying to get Lindsay to warm up to her.
“Brooke’s publicist was Lohan’s one-time rep, Steve Honig, and Brooke has even played the Charlie Sheen card, pointing out that Charlie helped Lindsay pay off debts to the IRS, so they both have a close relationship to him,” Radar explains.
Unfortunately for Brooke, Lindsay wants nothing to do with her. She’s freaked out by all the attention and calls her a “drug addict” behind her back.
“[It’s] creeping Lindsay out that Brooke seeks her out nightly at the meetings in an attempt to strike up a friendship. Brooke is extremely eager to become besties with Lindsay while in rehab, and has told Lindsay how much they have in common,” a source says for the tab.
The actress, in her turn, is trying to shut Brooke out.
“Lindsay has said that Brooke is a drug addict, and wants nothing to do with her. Lindsay has told her treatment team to keep Brooke out of her group sessions,” the tipster shares.
