We called it yesterday: Lindsay Lohan is upset that she’s become the butt of all jokes on SNL, and has fired off a letter to honcho Lorne Michaels, scolding him for allowing Miley Cyrus to spoof her on her latest stint.
Miley, as fans must already know, broke her silence with a hosting gig on Saturday Night Live – and she did quite an excellent job of it.
Among the many impersonations, she also did one of Lindsay Lohan towards the end of the “Duh! Winning” sketch with Charlie Sheen, but she also included a few jabs at LiLo in her opening monolog.
As it turns out, Lindsay is not happy. Clearly, Saturday Night Live honcho Lorne Michaels should have known better than to allow Miley to poke fun at Lindsay like this, she believes.
TMZ claims to have it on very good authority that Lindsay was so upset at the jabs she personally penned a letter to Michaels letting him know of the many ways in which he offended her.
“Lindsay Lohan has fired off a letter to Saturday Night Live honcho Lorne Michaels – explaining she was disappointed with him for allowing Miley Cyrus to take digs at her on the show,” TMZ reports.
“Sources close to Lindsay tell us... she had considered Lorne a mentor and a father figure – and felt betrayed that he would let Miley mock her on TV – so LiLo sent an email to let him know she was upset,” the e-zine says.
Of the things that upset Lindsay so hard, she includes the jab Miley took at her in the opening monolog, which you can also see embedded at the end of the article.
“I never stole a necklace or got a DUI, never cheated on wife like that golfer guy... so what if you can see a little [breast] from the side... I’m sorry if I’m not perfect,” Miley sang.
The beginning is obviously a reference to Lohan, who is now standing trial for grand theft, after claims she stole a $2,500 necklace from a jewelry store.
The lawsuit comes on the heels of a very rough period for Lohan, which also included a stint in rehab and charges of DUI.
As of now, Lindsay has not received a reply to her letter.
