14 DAY TRIAL // Lindsay Lohan has gone to great lengths to convince the world that she’s serious about her sobriety after her sixth stint in rehab, even agreeing to do a docuseries that aired on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN. She hasn’t convinced that many people and one of her pals knows exactly why: she’s not sober, that’s why.
Radar Online spoke to a Lohan insider who vouches that she’s still doing drugs and drinking as before the court-mandated rehabilitation program. In fact, Lindsay has gotten so bad again that she’s not even trying that hard to hide her habits from the world anymore.
“Lindsay is of course still partying. She never won’t use drugs and drink. Right now she is doing a lot of Ecstasy and Molly because with the psych meds she is on, if she is tested it will only show up as amphetamine, which is prescribed to her so it’s ‘safe’,” says the pal.
The psych meds in question are Ambien, Adderall, Dilaudid, Zoloft, Nexium, and Trazodone, Radar writes.
“I saw Lindsay rolling on Molly when we were at Coachella. She doesn’t really hide it and anyone close to her knows she’s still using. She will never get off Adderall and whatever her illegal drug of choice is at the moment. With her friends she just sort of laughs about sobriety. Everyone kind of just thinks she’s a joke now,” the unnamed friend continues.
That Lindsay is a “joke” is something that you also read a lot in the blogosphere, as celebrity pundits have grown tired of Lindsay’s excuses and empty promises. She was once a very promising actress and she threw her career away by lacking proper guidance in life, by partying too much, indulging in too much alcohol and drugs, and trying to cover up her mistakes by lying.
Speaking of lies, Lindsay is now in the middle of another controversy, after she tried to win a lawsuit by using a miscarriage she supposedly had while shooting for the aforementioned OWN docuseries. Then, when she was asked to testify under oath that she really was pregnant and miscarried, she cited violation of privacy as the reason for refusing to do it.
Even many of Lohan’s formerly loyal fans are fed up with all the lies she’s been telling over the years, the same lies that cost her her acting career and her reputation in showbiz.
And the bottom line is this, even assuming that the report that she’s back on drugs isn’t entirely accurate: as long as she continues to refuse to change, she will lose even more fans and sink even lower than where she is now.
