Lindsay Lohan did an appearance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and there were funny moments, like her water war with the host in which they both got drenched, as well as exciting moments, like when she confirmed that Tina Fey was hard at work on a “Mean Girls” reunion.

The teen comedy about well, some “Mean Girls,” was very popular when it came out 10 years ago due to the story, but also due to the cast, which famously included redhead Lindsay Lohan. The actress revealed to Fallon that there are currently legitimate plans to put together a reunion.

“This is important,” Lindsay said, and immediately added “This needs to happen,” underlining the importance of the project which clearly meant a lot to her.

Offering more details about the whole plan, Lindsay revealed that she spoke with Tina Fey, who is the writer of the first movie and who also played a role in the production, and she mentioned that she was in talks with producer Lorne Michaels about the sequel.

As far as she's concerned, the troubled actress claims that she is fully on board, leaving to believe that the original cast is going to make a full appearance.
