14 DAY TRIAL // Amidst talk of how she’s still trying to kick an addiction to drugs and alcohol, it would seem that Lindsay Lohan found yet another thing to get hooked on: tattoos. Before heading to jail to serve a 90-day sentence for violating her parole, the star rocked what looked like a bruise on the inside of her upper arm but was actually an unfinished tattoo, TMZ reports.
In recent months, Lindsay has been getting more and more ink, mostly consisting of inspirational quotes. However, on one of her latest trips to the tattoo parlor, she saw a piece that she positively fell in love with – and that she wanted to get on the inside of her upper arm but never got to see it finished. This way, what looks like a bruise is actually the outline of a girl with curly hair, pictured with her eyes closed and looking the picture of innocence.
“TMZ has learned Lindsay Lohan started to get some ink done before she got locked up – but she didn’t have time to finish the design... because of that whole jail thing. At first glance, it appears to be a bruise on LiLo’s upper left arm – but the mark is actually the tattooed outline of a little girl with her eyes closed. We’re told Lohan first went under the needle at the Shamrock Social Club tattoo parlor in Hollywood just a few weeks ago – and ironically chose the image because ‘she liked the innocence of the girl’,” TMZ writes.
And new ink is not all that Lindsay did to “prepare” for jail, as we were telling you a while ago. Word in the blogosphere has it that the star had her lips done only shortly before turning herself in, as well as some Botox to her forehead, because she wanted to look her best for the mugshot. Clearly, she knew from the start that the photo would make the rounds on the Internet and she did not want to look bad in it.
“Dermatologist Dr. Kenneth Beer added: ‘She has had injections of a filler such as Restylane or Juvederm. To me, it looks like about 1 to 2 syringes of product were used on her upper and lower lips… it will last for about 6 to 8 months.’ He also believes she ‘had some Botox [injected into] her forehead and frown lines.’ Sad. ‘Lohan knew the photo of her mugshot would be widely distributed. It is likely she had it done for this reason,’ said dermatologist Dr. Marcy Street. Yikes! The girl obviously has issues,” infamous celebrity blogger Perez Hilton was saying a while back, as we also reported.
