14 DAY TRIAL // Last night’s big finale on OWN’s Lindsay docuseries saw leading star Lindsay Lohan make a very startling revelation: for the 2 weeks she went away and was not available for shooting, she had a miscarriage, she said, wiping away the tears. As a new report would have it, the biggest problem with this is that it never happened.
Two separate sources claiming to be close to the star accuse her of faking the miscarriage to win the sympathy vote and thus save face after acting like an unprofessional brat for the duration of the shoot, Radar Online reports.
Since day one of signing with Oprah Winfrey for the docuseries, Lindsay has been skipping appointments or arriving impossibly late for them, throwing tantrums and acting like a diva. As these two insiders would have it, she tried to excuse some of that behavior by going public with the pregnancy / miscarriage story.
“She absolutely made it up. Lindsay was never pregnant during filming the reality show for OWN, or in the months after. Lindsay knew she was being perceived as a total slacker, not showing up on time for photo shoots, call times and refusing to shoot. So this is what Lindsay does. She lies! Her family and friends had no clue about her ‘pregnancy’ and subsequent miscarriage. Lindsay is once again her own worst enemy,” says one insider.
As you can see in the video below, on the docuseries finale, Lindsay said that the reason she wouldn’t come down for a scheduled shoot one day was that she was in bed, sick after the miscarriage.
“Lindsay has continued to smoke through-out this entire series and has admitted to relapsing and drinking alcohol. Don’t forget there have been multiple media reports that she fell off the wagon months ago. Quite simply, Lindsay never acted like someone who was pregnant. It’s just sad that anything that comes out of her mouth is considered to be a lie,” another source adds.
Indeed, reports that she fell off the wagon have been around since she completed her latest stint in rehab but, then again, they’re always around and they’re not always necessarily true. In fact, in Lohan’s defense, throughout the docuseries, she tried to shut down certain rumors about her personal life, particularly those that she’s still a party animal who drinks and does drugs.
At the time this came out, Lohan’s rep was not available for comment on the latest allegation, that she lied about being pregnant and having a miscarriage to get people to warm up to her.
