Beautiful Lindsay Lohan confessed she made a good deal when she signed on to Robert Altman's latest movie, "A Prairie Home Companion." Lohan declared she is proud to work with such great actors, especially alongside her favorite, Meryl Streep.

"It is quite incredible to be able to say that I will be working with someone like that," Lohan said on Meryl Streep.
"You can only learn from those people and just watch (...) I can't wait to get on set and just watch them and see what they do and how they act", Lohan added.

Linsday Lohan joined Tommy Lee Jones, Woody Harrelson, Virginia Madsen, John C. Reilly, Maya Rudolph, Lily Tomlin and her personal favorite, Meryl Streep in the untitled comedy, written by Keillor.

The movie follows a 30-year old radio program which is about to be closed by a Texas conglomerate. Meryl Streep will play a country-music siren who stars in a radio variety series and Lohan will play her daughter. Jones will play Axeman, the suit who has been sent to the station by his conglomerate to oversee the closing of the show.

The film will be produced by Altman's Sandcastle 5 Prods. will be financed by GreeneStreet Films and River Road Entertainment, which are also the executive producers.

Lindsay Lohan began her career as a model for the Ford Academy at the age of three and has appeared in more than sixty television commercials since.

She debuted in showbizz at age 12, in a remake of an even older Disney family classic, The Parent Trap, but she reached the celebrity status after the movies Freaky Friday and Mean Girls.

Lohan's latest movie is Herbie: Fully Loaded, the fifth film in the Herbie series (the last installment was Herbie Goes Bananas (1980)). Lohan stars alongside Michael Keaton, Matt Dillon, and Breckin Meyer.

For the Walt Disney film, it was reported that Lohan's breasts had to be "digitally reduced" so that family audiences would not be offended. The film's director, Angela Robinson, and Lohan both strongly deny the rumor. (Wikipedia)
