Lindsay Lohan is again involved in some cop drama, as her house has been burglarized over the weekend. This is the second time that the star is targeted by burglars in less than four months but, luckily, the intruders were again caught on tape. Michael Lohan, Lindsay’s father, for one, believes it was an inside job, since the alarm had not been activated, TMZ says.

As the star is trying to get over the initial shock, Mr. Lohan is talking to the media about the incident, saying he was the first person his daughter called when she got home and noticed her house had been broken into. According to him, this couldn’t have been but an inside job, as the alarm had not been activated, which means the burglars could get in and take what they wanted without being disturbed by security. They were, however, captured on tape and police are said to be looking for them as we speak.

“A source on scene tells TMZ that three men were captured by surveillance video breaking into Lindsay’s house in the Hollywood Hills. Michael Lohan tells TMZ a safe was ripped off the wall and a couple of watches were taken. He believes it’s ‘an inside job’ because the people that work for Lindsay failed to turn the alarm on. He says, ‘I am not going to put up with individuals violating my family. Lindsay is a charitable, generous person that always gives. This is a personal violation and it has got to stop.’ We’re told Lindsay came home early this morning, around 3:00 AM, discovered the break-in and called her dad.” TMZ writes.

The only difference between this weekend’s incident and the one in May is that, back then, nothing was taken from the house, as the intruders reportedly became scared when they saw the surveillance camera and ran as fast as they could. Their faces were, though, caught on film, but it is not yet known whether they have been apprehended in the meantime. As for the most recent break-in, the police are still gathering evidence and it is believed they will make an announcement soon.

The contents of the safe that Michael Lohan says was ripped off the wall have not been made public, as neither has the value of the watches taken. A statement from Lindsay’s publicist is also expected in the following hours.
