The all-night partying isn't taking its troll on the young starlet's movie career but also on what could have a pop success. The bosses from Island Records are just joining the growing line of unsatisfied persons who refuse to work with Lindsay anymore.
The album 'Speak' was canceled altogether because the red-head was too busy doing anything else, instead of promoting her single 'Over'. So, irritated by Lohan's unprofessional conduct, Island Records decided not to do her album in the UK and never to work with her again.
A source from inside the record company told 'The Sun': 'The single was a huge flop because Lindsay couldn't be bothered to get off her bum and promote it. In the end they didn't even bother releasing the album, called "Speak", in Britain. She didn't bother to come over to the UK to do interviews or make TV appearances to help sell the album. Island have now decided not to do another one with her'.
This comes just days after the CEO of Morgan Creek Productions sent the actress a warning letter, in which she was 'advised' to start acting like an adult and a professional actor and to take her job seriously. Otherwise, she will be fired and dragged into court for damages.
Lindsay complied the very next day with all the demands but her mother was appalled by the 'ridiculous' and 'out of the line' letter, claiming that her daughter
is a serious actress. So what if she is a little late for work, when they can always work their schedules around hers?
