Lindsay Isn't of 'No Importance'

With rumors going strong that Lindsay Lohan is actually facing a dead point in her career and that more and more stars are explicitly asking their managers to turn down any offers that have her name attached to them, the actress backs out of yet another project.

Since she checked into rehab a couple of weeks ago, Lindsay has kept all the newspaper headlines, especially as her rehabilitation program at the Wonderland Center in LA has been anything but ordinary. Although she figures on the list as a patient of the posh clinic, Lindsay was spotted on various occasions out and about town, running errands, going shopping with her mother and sister, getting her Mercedes fixed and having dinner.

However, not every time that she left the premises she did it for fun: Lindsay has also obtained leave from her doctor to go daily on the set of her latest movie 'I Know Who Killed Me', to fulfill her contractual obligations. But spies from the set are already talking about her rehab stint is only a publicity sham, into which she was forced by the producers, who were already fed up with her late arrivals and no-shows.

Other sources claim that big actors such as Jack Nickolson or Morgan Freeman have already instructed their managers to refuse any movie offer that has Lindsay's name on it. But there was one actress that still wanted to work with the freckled one: Annette Bening. Unfortunately, the situation is such that Lindsay can't do a movie with the Oscar-nominated Annette, because she has to focus on getting well in the first place.

'She doesn't want to just yes everyone and compromise herself anymore. If anything has been learned, it's that what she needs comes first - and right now she needs focus. Lindsay is sad that she's unable to finally get to work with Annette, because she's a huge fan and respects her.', her publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelnik said in a press statement.

The two were to star next to each other in the romantic comedy 'A Woman of No Importance' but Lindsay's decision that she wasn't of no importance makes it impossible right now. As the publicist said, she is not at that stage in her life when she can make commitments after commitments if she can't carry them to the end. This is the second time that Lindsay was set to join forces with Bening, after the latter backed out of starring as Lindsay's mom in 'Freaky Friday'.
