Lindsay Lohan is not only giving up booze and the party night life (no, this last one, not quite), but she is also back at work... hard! After going through a rougher period in her personal life, the freckled actress is now back on the set and filming for a new movie.

Lindsay is now shooting 'I Know Who Killed Me', a drama in which she plays the part of a striptease dancer. Accordingly, she had to learn how to pole dance and, thus, the mystery of her pole dancing lessons comes to an end. It was all for the part, that she still has to play for another five weeks, when the movie wraps up shooting.

Another Lindsay-related mystery is the way in which all her emails make it into the newspapers, like it happened with the letter she wrote after Altman's passing away and the message she sent to her lawyers about asking Al Gore for help to overcome her crisis and change the world once and for all.

Somebody from the 'New York Post' got their hands on an email Lohan sent to her friends, in which she complains about how hard it is to be a stripper for a couple of hours a day, how that left her with bruises 'down there' and how much it hurts to climb and dance on the pole.

'So... three hours of pole dancing and bruised. Everywhere... I mean we're talkin' like, upper and inner thigh action-bruised... like a walking black-and-blue mark. I mean really though, really, I didn't know it was actually possible to have bruises in such areas of the body. Strippers dude, I tell you, I really respect the c**ts now... I'm not gonna lie to you.', Lindsay tells her friends.

Well, that's just the risk of the profession and, until now, Lindsay has been taking them as a pro. In other Lohan-related news, rumor has it that she plans to move to New York to stick to her alcohol-free treatment. Los Angeles and her circle of friends (including Paris Hilton) are not suitable for a recovering alcoholic as she is, various media outlets inform.
