Let me get this straight because, you see, first I have to explain these pics to myself and only afterwards start making fun of them. Right now, I am kinda confused: normally, I can totally understand it when Lindsay Lohan leaves home without her bra or even without her underwear (which she did on countless occasions) or when she goes clubbing in the most horrendous numbers I ever laid my eyes on because that's just what she does.
But now, with this half an outfit, she really blew me: is she trying to set a trend or something or did she really forget to put on whatever was that should have constituted the lower part of her outfit? Lindsay was never that kind of celebrity of whom you could say she had a defining fashion style. I mean, aside from the fact that the girl usually dresses like she doesn't have the money to buy decent clothes (or a decent stylist), there's not that much that can be said of her 'fashion' sense.
But the funniest thing that everyday and sometimes all day long Lindsay is seen doing is shopping: bags, accessories and clothes. What I'm trying to say is that she spends so much time in those posh stores, coughing up thousands of dollars and trying on every item that appeals to her and then she comes out wearing this! Somewhere down the line something just went terribly wrong...
Here's how I would explain it: Lindsay doesn't have a stylist (or not one that the media knows of). The day these photos were taken, she was preparing to go clubbing, probably to celebrate her new sober status. She rummaged through her clothes, found this blue sweater and set her mind on wearing it. The only thing she had to now was to choose a dress or something to go with it. As she was trying on a top, Lindsay probably got a very 'urgent' phone call, looked down, saw that she had her pantyhose on, declared she looked fine and went out.
Her dress, as you see it in those photos, did not ride up her legs - this is its length. While I'm no prude and I do believe that girls with beautiful legs should wear minis to show them off, when people can see your pantyhose line, you don't quite come off as sexy. But she makes up for that in the third photo (taken as she was coming out of the club), where she proudly displays the holes in her stockings. Now, this is what I call class. In my book, girls who look like wasted prostitutes, all ruffled and torn, are hot! I bet you think the same...
