A little over two weeks ago, Lindsay Lohan was arrested again for DUI and possession of cocaine, only days after she had been released from a second rehabilitation facility from where she seemed to have emerged a winner. Only, it wasn't the case: the 21-freckled actress relapsed into her bad habits (legally, this time around) and even thought it would be a good idea to kidnap three guys she was out clubbing with and engage in a crazy car chase that eventually ended in the parking lot of the police station.
She was tested, booked, charged and bailed. And then, there was silence. Aside from an email that she sent to 'Access Hollywood', claiming that she was not guilty and several statements from her mother, father and sister (all of which we might as well discard), Lindsay kept to herself. Not only that, but no one seems to know her whereabouts these days - it's as if she has disappeared from the face of the earth and there's no sign left of her ever being here.
Initially, it was reported that Lindsay flew to her mother's house in Long Island but the paparazzi can vouch that this is not the case: after days and days of watching the house, there was no trace of Lindsay in sight. Apparently, 'Radar' and other media outlets point out, everybody was looking for answers in the wrong place: Lindsay is not with her mother or any of her friends but in rehab for the third time in less than a year. This time, to stay!
Allegedly, the starlet checked into the Cirque Lodge facility in Utah, an isolated resort that provides care and treatment for all kinds of addictions for the amazing sum of $30,000 per stay. Equipped with a private chopper, breathtaking views and all the comfort one could ask for, the Lodge prides itself with being the perfect place not only for detox but also for enabling 'spiritual healing'. Which is, they say, the first step towards getting better.
This is Lindsay's third rehab stint, after the failed attempts at Promises and Wonderland. The actress is said to have chosen such a remote location (the Lodge is 'located in the beautiful mountains of Sundance, Utah, at the base of majestic Mount Timpanogos') because, during her two previous attempts, she was constantly harassed by the media, especially since she was also taking part in outdoor patient programs as well. Lindsay will probably spend 30 days in this facility without interruption, save for August 24, the day when she's scheduled for a court hearing on her second DUI case.
