Says she wants to move away from him

A new development has occurred in the ongoing divorce proceedings between Hulk Hogan and estranged wife Linda, as she has just filed court papers asking for more money from the former wrestler, TMZ informs. Apparently, Linda is still very much in shock after the O.J. Simpson comments that Hulk made to Rolling Stone, and wants to use the extra money to move as far away from her soon to be ex as possible.

As fans must know, Linda is already living off Hulk’s fortune, having little achievement of her own off which she can make a profit. Now, she’s asking for even more money, this time, for her own safety as the homicidal comments Hulk made not long ago have made her realize she could be in grave danger. As of now, neither the former wrestler nor his rep has responded to the petition Linda just filed.

“Linda Hogan just filed papers in Pinellas County, Fla. claiming she needs an additional $8,200 a month from Hulk so she can move ‘thousands of miles away’ from him because Linda feels she’s in ‘imminent danger of becoming a victim.’ And if Hulk doesn’t pay up, Linda’s threatening to file a domestic violence injunction against him – with special terms to keep him from using the media to bash her. The infamous cougar is also asking for $24,000 for ‘advanced rent and security deposits’ to set up shop in sunny California.” TMZ says of the latest development.

Earlier this month, an excerpt from an interview Hulk Hogan gave to Rolling Stone was made public by PageSix and, in just a couple of hours, became the hottest topic of discussion in celebrity-oriented magazines. In it, Hogan was saying that he could understand why former sportsman O.J. Simpson had killed his wife, since seeing Linda replacing him with a much younger boy whom she paid with his money got him wanting to do the same.

“I could have turned everything into a crime scene, like OJ, cutting everybody’s throat. You live half a mile from the 20,000-square-foot home you can’t go to anymore, you’re driving through downtown Clearwater and see a 19-year-old boy driving your Escalade, and you know that a 19-year-old boy is sleeping in your bed, with your wife... I totally understand OJ. I get it.” Hogan said at the time, in what was labeled by Linda clear proof of his “homicidal” and violent nature.
