This has not been a good week for the Hogans: just one day after very intimate footage of Hulk Hogan emerged online, his ex-wife Linda has been arrested on suspicion of DUI and driving on a suspended license.
As Hulk is
lawyering up to find those who leaked the aforementioned tape, which shows him sleeping with his best friend’s ex-wife and was shot without his consent (so say his attorneys), Linda too is getting ready for court.
During a speeding stop in Malibu, police officers noted that she seemed intoxicated, which she was (though barely),
TMZ reports.

“Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, Linda – real name Linda Bollea – was arrested at 1:34 AM Thursday morning and taken to a nearby police station where she was booked and put behind bars. According to the citation, her blood alcohol level is listed as .084, barely above the legal limit in California (.08),” the celebrity e-zine writes.
After a few hours, Linda’s bail was set at $5,000 (€3,836) and she was released, with a court date set for later.
“A rep for Linda tells TMZ, Linda sincerely regrets the arrest. The rep claims Linda was on her way home from a jewelry function in LA where she drank a glass of champagne on an empty stomach – in combination with antibiotics that exacerbated the effects of the alcohol,” TMZ writes.
The same rep claims that reports that Linda was also driving on a suspended license are not accurate – but she was speeding when she was pulled over.
“It's unclear if Linda was the only person in the car at the time of her arrest,” TMZ adds.
Considering how nasty the Hogans’ divorce was – in fact, they’re still badmouthing each other in the press whenever they get the chance – it would be wrong to assume Linda’s arrest was in any way connected to her ex’s recent legal troubles, unless, of course, she drank the champagne to celebrate.
