“Lincoln” Teaser Trailer Is Here

Mark your calendars, movie buffs: on September 13, Google+ brings you the first official trailer of the upcoming, insanely anticipated “Lincoln” with Daniel Day-Lewis. In the meantime, above we have the first teaser.

You have to love studios’ rather recent policy on trailers: why just release the trailer when you can tease for days before doing so?

Not that we’re complaining. Anything is better than nothing at all where this particular project is concerned.

Featuring bits from the Gettysburg Address in voiceover, the clip doesn’t offer too good a look at Day-Lewis the leading man, but we doubt this matters at this point.

“Lincoln” also stars Sally Field, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tommy Lee Jones, James Spader and Jackie Earle Hale, and will be out in select theaters on November 9.
