Nokia has announced that those who appreciate the recently released N76 mobile phone will be able to be among the few that own such a device from a new limited edition. All Nokia cellulars that will be released in a small number will have miniature sculpture relief designed by one of the most skilled Finnish art jewelry house led by Bjorn Weckstrom.

The Nokia N76 phone model has been released for
some time now and has received signs of appreciation from handset users. It goes by as a stylish, but modern cell phone model, which is capable of integrating highly advanced features. This makes it rather resemble a computer packed in a slim, attractive mobile phone design.

What makes this clamshell phone so special is the fact that all these high technological performances come in a mobile phone with only 13.7 mm in thickness. Nokia N76 is capable of storing a large number of songs on its 2 GB memory. Moreover, it has a 2 megapixel QVGA camera capable of up to 20x digital zoom and supporting video conference calls. The mobile phone also comes with a Nokia browser with Mini Map and is capable of sending and receiving emails and instant messages.

All these features have been improved by adding the element of luxury. Nokia N76 didn't come cheap before either, but the handsets from the special hand-crafted limited series will most probably be out of reach for many buyers. Still, Nokia has no doubts on the potential success that it will have. "The ways that Mr. Weckström was able to add to the already outstanding design of the product says a lot of his talent." said Anssi Vanjoki, executive vice-president and general manager of Multimedia at Nokia.

The artistic upgrade that Nokia has made on its N76 phone model will take this mobile phone out of the serial productivity line and place it in the hands of an experienced craftsman. Through this, it will turn out to be less of a device and more of a carefully designed artistic accessory.
