You can't help but crack a smile upon hearing the news that pop British singer Lily Allen has chosen to name her upcoming album “Sheezus,” in clear reference to the album of hip-hop superstar Kanye West, which she claimed is her hero.

Allen broke the news to talk show host Graham Norton on his Graham Norton Show by saying “It’s a confident title choice and a little nod to Kanye West.” Meanwhile, chances are that Kanye hasn't even heard of Lily Allen.

The pop singer is marking her return to the musical stage with her “Sheezus” album after a 4-year hiatus, during which she focused her efforts on raising her two children.

Earlier this month she came out with a new video for her latest release, “Air Balloon,” an up-beat song with happy lyrics and a decent club sound that is going to be included on the new album, according to her.

It's going to be interesting to watch if Lily is going to pay tribute to her hip-hop hero and do a song about Kanye.
