Lily Allen Is Married and Pregnant

British singer Lily Allen got married over the weekend in a very private and beautiful ceremony. As if that wasn’t enough happy news for fans, she and Sam Cooper are also expecting their first child, as the star is a few months pregnant.

Though Lily tried to keep most of the details of her wedding under wraps, in March this year, the Save-the-Date she sent to her closest friends and family members ended up online, which means fans knew where to go for a glimpse of the happy bride and groom.

And, as it turns out, there was plenty to see in the bride: as PopEater confirms, aside from a gorgeous wedding dress and the happiest smile in the world, the star also sported a tiny baby bump that not even the custom made dress could cover.

Indeed, after two heartbreaking miscarriages, Lily is expecting again. Given her medical history, it’s no wonder that she wanted to keep the secret for as long as she did.

“The outspoken pop star wore a lacy veiled headress, platform heels and a traditional white gown by French designer Delphine Manivet as she exchanged vows Saturday with longtime beau Sam Cooper,” PopEater says of the bride.

“The ceremony took place in the English countryside, at a centuries-old church in the quaint Gloucestershire village of Cranham, where a cheering crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of the newlyweds as they exited the house of worship,” adds the e-zine.

As per reports in the media, it was Sam who broke the news, telling the guests at the ceremony that they were about to become parents.

Word of it immediately spread in the British media, which prompted the Daily Mail to seek out Lily’s designer for the wedding gown, who confirmed the happy news.

“It’s beautiful that she is pregnant, and I am very happy for her. You can see, of course, the little stomach – it looked very cute with the dress,” Manivet said from Paris.

Even though both Lily and the child are healthy and doing well, doctors have advised the mommy / newlywed to take some time off and take proper care of herself to ensure that everything goes well with this pregnancy.
