Soon, the pounds will start piling up again, she says

In early January, it was revealed that singer Lily Allen’s drastic weight loss was explainable by a diet that was as weird as it was seemingly efficient. Called “hypno-dieting,” it was said to have helped Lily drop two dress sizes in record time. However, according to the singer herself, she continues to “eat like a pig,” so chances are there is no diet to speak of in the first place.

Lily has always been far from other excessively skinny celebrities in Hollywood, for which reason she has also been quite criticized in the media. “Hypno-dieting” or not, Lily reveals in a recent interview that, despite the fact that she’s several pounds lighter, she still loves to cook and eat. This, in turn, only means that she will be back to her old self in almost no time, she says.

“I spend a lot of time thinking about what I’m going to eat!” Lily says in a recent interview. “I eat like a pig. I eat lots of food. I love food. Food really is my passion. I tend to cook quite a lot. When I go out for dinner I go into town, with friends. I go to Nobu a lot.” she further explains. Being such a lover of food is understandable, she says, since cooking is one of the best methods to unwind after a long day at work - at least for her.

“One of my favorite things to cook is this Thai chicken aromatic broth with coconut and rice noodles and stuff in it. It’s good.” Lily reveals. However, no matter how much weight she lost so far, she will certainly put it all back once she hits the road to go on tour because, she says, this is almost always the case. “I’ll put on weight again when I’m on tour, just because you do. All you ever eat is crisps and bread and cheese and ham. So inevitably I’ll be fat again soon.” the singer explains laughing.

Back at the beginning of January, when the “hypno-dieting” story broke, Susan Hepburn, a Harley Street hypnotist, told Grazia magazine that she had managed to convince the singer into giving up alcohol and junk food. “It [hypno-dieting] is very big in LA and New York and it’s becoming increasingly popular in London. During sessions, I taught Lily to favor healthy, low-fat meals instead of junk food. And to see that alcohol isn’t a confidence booster, it’s just extra calories that sabotage your efforts to get a good body.” she said at the time.
