Developer BitMonster Games just released the launch trailer for their adventure / role-playing game hybrid, Lili: Child of Geos, which will be showing up on Steam soon.

The Steam version of Lili: Child of Geos is the remastered version of the iOS game, coming with improved visuals and offering a humorous and enthralling storyline to explore.

The game is set on the mysterious island of Geos, where the protagonist, Lili, embarks on a journey to find some rare flowers for her school of magic.

She then discovers the conflict between the island's inhabitants and delves deeper into its world, while following her mission to pluck flowers from the ground or from the backs of the spirits living on Geos, during combat.

The game runs on Unreal Engine, and the anime-style environment is beatifully designed and rendered, with well-animated characters, showing what a small but talented team can pull off with the right vision.

The developers are all industry veterans, coming from Epic Games, which is a testament to their skill, and their debut title has seen quite the success on iOS, where the competition in the adventure genre isn't as fierce as on the PC.

It remains to be seen how Lili: Child of Geos fares on Steam, where there's serious competition to go against, and whether the touch-based interface will translate smoothly to bigger screens and different controls.
