Not long ago, rapper Lil Wayne was saying that he was “more than good” after being hospitalized a couple of times and following countless reports that he’d been put in an induced coma because doctors didn’t know what was wrong with him. The other day, he was hospitalized again.

TMZ reports that the star was rushed to the hospital after another seizure.

This time though, it was nothing serious – at least not as serious as last time – so he was sent home shortly afterwards.

“Sources close to Wayne tell us, the rapper was taken to Cedars-Sinai in LA late Tuesday night by his bodyguards. We're told he suffered a single seizure and was treated and released early this morning,” the celebrity e-zine says.

Lil Wayne himself seems to acknowledge the minor setback on his Twitter, though he doesn’t offer any details or even refer to it as a “seizure.”

“I’m fine. Thank u,” he writes to his 11+ million fans and followers on the social networking site, who had probably reached out to him, concerned about his condition.

As noted above, Lil Wayne’s health has been making lots of headlines in recent month, with reports in March this year saying that he was in critical condition.

At the time, it was believed that the seizures were triggered by prescription pill or drug abuse, a rumor that the rapper shot down the moment he had a chance to do so.

Later that same month, he revealed he was epileptic and had been having seizures since he was a kid. Nevertheless, they had never been this serious.

“This isn’t my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure. I’ve had a bunch of seizures, ya’ll just never hear about them,” he said, as we also informed you at the time.

“The reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest, overworking myself. That’s just typical me though,” Lil Wayne added.
