The other day, rappers Lil Wayne and Eminem again joined forces for a joint performance, on the latest edition of Saturday Night Live, as the videos below will confirm.

In what was his first performance since walking out of jail last month, Lil Wayne performed his latest hit song and, before that, a duet with the MC of the year, Eminem, AceShowbiz reports.

The two walked on the stage for “No Love,” which was followed by Em’s “Won’t Back Down” and Weezy’s “6 Foot 7 Foot.”

“Rap mogul duo Lil Wayne and Eminem rocked the house of Saturday Night Live on December 18,” AceShowbiz writes.

“They teamed up in ‘No Love’ before the Slim Shady spat verses from Pink-assisted song ‘Won’t Back Down’ and then left Weezy to take charge on his brand new song ‘6 Foot 7 Foot’,” the e-zine also notes.

For both rappers, the SNL performance was a comeback of sorts, having not been on the show for many years before the other night.

“The weekend performance was Weezy’s first TV appearance since he was released from jail in early November this year and his second SNL gig following his performance in the 2008 season premiere of the TV show,” AceShowbiz writes.

“As for Eminem, that reportedly was his return to the late-night show since his 2004 appearance,” the e-zine further notes.

While this is not the first time Weezy duets with Eminem, another singer can only dream of a future duet for the time being, as we also informed you a short while ago.

Robert Pattinson, star of the “Twilight” franchise who also sings and recently turned down an offer from Simon Cowell for a record deal because he wanted to make only the music he liked, has recently revealed he’d die for a duet with Eminem.

More or less joking, Pattinson revealed he once dreamed of making it as a rapper and that he still kept all the tapes he made at the time – and adding it would be truly “amazing” to duet with Em.

Until this happens, check out the two performances below and, useless to say, enjoy.
