Hundreds have gathered on Saturday, June 29 for the burial of 18-year-old hip hop rising star Lil Snupe.
As reported, Snupe was fatally shot in Winnfield, Louisiana.
Although it was first rumored that he was shot over a dice game, the Inquisitr mentions that a video game quarrel prompted the attack. Police have suspect Tony D. Holden, 36, in custody for the rapper’s murder.
Friends, family and fans gathered at the Jonesboro-Hodge High School auditorium for the funeral service, which was moved from 11 am to 1 pm.
His mentor, Meek Mill, who signed him almost immediately after hearing his demo after a concert, attended the funeral.
“I’m never one to talk (at funerals). […] I saw something in him. His demo tape spoke to me. I saw myself in him,” Mill says.
