Rap Singer Lil' Kim is suing her former recording partner for $6 million, claiming that James "Lil' Cease" Lloyd is preparing to release an unauthorized DVD, "The Chronicles of Junior M.A.F.I.A. Part II: Reloaded."
Lil' Kim declared that the DVD, like a predecessor, was unauthorized and improperly uses her name and image.
Kim also accuses Cease that he has publicly announced that the DVD will include interviews with him and other members of the Junior M.A.F.I.A. explaining their involvement in her trial.
Lil' Kim was sentenced two weeks ago to one year and a day in jail for lying to a federal grand jury about a 2001 shootout outside a Manhattan radio station.
The judge showed her some clemency after Jim declared she's a "God-fearing person".
Lil' Kim has to report to prison on September 19. She was also fined $50,000.
During the testimony, Kim declared she did not see Damion Butler and Suif Jackson at the scene of the shooting incident outside a radio station in Manhattan in 2001.
However, Mr Lloyd and fellow Brooklyn rapper Antoine "Banger" Spain testified that they were with her at the time.
