It was lights out for a few minutes at the New Orleans stadium where the biggest sporting event of the year took place, the Super Bowl XLVII. Check it out in the video above.

The power outage occurred after Beyonce’s Halftime performance, in the third quarter, and only lasted a short while but, nonetheless, it’s enough to get upset 49ers fans talking about how it might have influenced the outcome of the game, to the disadvantage of their favorite team.

The Baltimore Ravens won, by the way.

Voices online are now saying that the 34-minute delay in the game caused by the power outage could have somehow “tainted” the results.

What do you think? Do you think the Ravens would have still won, even without the blackout – or should they count their blessings for it? Let me know in the comments section below.
