LightTrac is a popular app among photographers that, until now, has only been available for Android and iOS users. Rivolu, the developer of LightTrac, has recently announced that the program is now available in the Windows Store for all Windows 8.1 users.

For those of you unacquainted with LightTrac, you should know that this is an advanced planning tool that will help any photographer or filmmaker plan his trip around the city from the comfort of his home.

Moreover, the program gives detailed information regarding elevation and direction of the Sun and Moon at any time of day/night, allowing you to know exactly what to expect during your trip.

All the information is displayed on a satellite map, which accurately pinpoints the best time to take pictures in the desired location. LightTrac is now available for a 7-day trial on the Windows Store, while the full version can be purchased for $4.99 / €3.65.
