Don't know what is it about headphones lately, but every single day there seems to be yet another option to add to that ever growing list, the Icon Series 6mm Premium Headphone by Lift Audio being definitely worthy of a quick look, at least for their low Amazon pricing.

Designed in order to provide users with comfort and performance no matter what, these 6mm driver in-ear headphones are built using an 1.6oz aluminum alloy structure, that should prove to be able to withstand even the most active lifestyle while also maintaining the phones lightweight and durable, according to the manufacturer that is.

Furthermore, fit is improved by the elongated cone-shape silicone fittings that are available in three different sizes (S, M, L) for a more personalized feel, a carrying case being also included in the retail package.

But a durable design isn't all that Lift Audio promises to deliver with its Icon Series headphones as the company states these will also provide users with an top-notch audio experience thanks to their magnesium-enriched dynamic driver and “powerful strontium rare earth magnet”.

Lift Audio also says these are accompanied by a passive noise isolation system that stops other sounds from entering your ear, so, at least on paper, these headphones sound pretty good (let's just hope this will also be the case when, and if, you take them for a ride).

But the best part of the Icon Series headphones is their price, as the company sells these through Amazon for a low $26, down from the $80 suggested retail price.

Why the company does that (if they actually sound as good as they are supposed to) is beyond me although it may have something to do with the fact that Lift Audio was founded in 2010, so this could be their way of getting a little bit of "free" publicity.
