Liferea News Reader 1.8.12 Fixes TinyTinyRSS

Liferea, a free news aggregator capable to store articles for offline reading and with full synchronization with Google Reader and TinyTinyRSS, is now at version 1.8.12.

Liferea 1.8.12 is a minor release in the stable branch and it features just a few changes. This version makes Liferea compatible to the changes in the TinyTinyRSS 1.6 API.

The developers have asked people who are using TinyTinyRSS to upgrade to the new version as quickly as possible.

Highlights of Liferea 1.8.12:

• Some GPLv2 license headers were outdated and they have been fixed;
• The tt-rss API changed and the application now supports only the 1.6 API;
• The XHTML errors caused by the extra tags from tt-rss have been fixed;
• The German translation has been updated.
