Liege is a Kickstarter-based video game project that aims to mix traditional mechanics from the Japanese role-playing genre with concepts from chess and a mature yet classic story.

The game will follow a cast of eight characters in the aftermath of a horrific event that affects a traditional kingdom.

As the story progresses, players will need to master tactics and ability in order to defeat increasingly capable enemy groups in turn-based engagements.

They will also discover more about the cast of characters, their motivations and the choices they need to make in order to reach their objectives.

More information on the rewards for backers and the stretch goals are offered on the Kickstarter page.

The team working on Liege only needs 15,000 dollars (10,300 Euro) from backers to create the game and they have already reached their goal, although more resources are always welcomed.
