A “lick” is only 10% the size of a video, says developer Scrambled Eggs

iOS developer Scrambled Eggs has released this strangely-named iPhone app which allegedly lets you “lick” people (including yourself) and have fun.

It’s basically a photo sharing app which, for one reason or another, has been filed under Productivity tools in the iTunes App Store.

The developer says Lick is “a brand new way to capture important detail or have fun. Hold to record voice and release to take your picture,” Scrambled Eggs explains.

The free app basically creates voice clips with pictures and lets you share them with others for licking (which is probably a spin-off inspired by Facebook Likes). In typical App Store fashion, Scrambled Eggs also enumerates the key features:

Instantly save your lick to access later. Share licks to any of your favorite apps such as Whatsapp, WeChat, Evernote, Dropbox, Facebook, or Instagram. A lick is only 10% the size of a video for fast uploading and downloading. Lick things, lick others, lick yourself. Enjoy!

One question: how did this description get past Apple’s net?
