Developer Xaviant has just revealed Lichdom, a first-person action adventure experience that focuses a lot on magic as well as on gorgeous visuals, thanks to the CryEngine 3 technology.

Lichdom promises to deliver a visceral first-person experience that puts players in the shoes of a human with magic capabilities that can be developed in a variety of directions.

All spells will not only look great, thanks to the CryEngine 3, but will also deliver a visceral feel when used on enemies.

The game also has a special universe built by the team at Xaviant and players will explore the huge world to complete quests and improve their magic arsenal of spells, which can be combined to produce even more devastating attacks.

The game is set to appear for the PC in summer of 2014.
