After moving to Berlin, Germany, The Document Foundation decided on where to hold its annual LibreOffice Conference, and the winner is Berlin.

The Document Foundation members have decided on Berlin as a location for LibreOffice Conference after the completion of a public poll related to this. The results are now in, and to no ones surprise, Berlin won in front of Zaragoza, Spain.

The Board of Directors from The Document Foundation has congratulated Berlin for winning and have stated that the gathering will be held sometime in the autumn.

A couple of weeks ago, The Document Foundation has become a Stiftung, which is a form based on the governance model that the LibreOffice community has chosen. It's essentially now a part of Germany, so it's no wonder Berlin was the one selected.
