LibreOffice remains one of the top choices for people looking for a more affordable replacement for Microsoft Office, so every single update that comes out is quite important for pretty much everyone.

Today, The Documentation Foundation rolled out another preview version of LibreOffice 4.3, thus allowing users to try out the next stable build of the productivity suite before it hits the market as a final product.

There are no release notes available for the time being, but it’s safe to assume that it’s focused on fixing bugs and addressing performance issues, which means that the app should actually provide a much more stable experience as compared to previous preview version of LibreOffice 4.3 beta and RC.

The application continues to provide support for all Windows versions currently on the market, including the old Windows XP which no longer receives updates and security patches from Microsoft.

Keep in mind, however, that even though this new release is supposed to add stability and performance improvements to the previous beta builds, a number of bugs might still exist, so if you not wish to lose too much time with bugs and other issues, you should stick to the 4.2 stable version.
