The Document Foundation announces that the release of the fifth update version for LibreOffice 4.1.x branch is now available on all platforms, including Linux, Windows, and Mac OS.

All the supported platforms have received this new update, but this is a maintenance build that’s mostly about bug fixes.

According to the changelog, a number of freezes that occurred when scrolling large documents with many pictures have been fixed, it's now possible to un-protect Table Cells, and slow load times have been corrected.

Also, cross-references are now working properly, importing custom text cell format is now working properly, the Writer no longer crashes when scrolling pages, and the persistent "Restore Windows" dialog is now disappearing
