The Document Foundation has announced that the second Release Candidate version for LibreOffice 4.1.2 is now available for the Linux platform, featuring just a handful of changes and fixes.

According to The Document Foundation, starting with version 4.0.0, the LibreOffice installer files have a new naming scheme.

According to the changelog, the wrong list of the Presentation backgrounds are no longer shown in the Template Manager, users can now scroll the dialogue spinner by holding the mouse click, TIFF image importing is working properly, just to mention a few of the improvements.

Check out the official changelog for a complete list of updates and new features. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
