A new and improved LibreOffice suite was announced by The Document Foundation

The Document Foundation has announced that the final version for LibreOffice 3.6.6 is now available for the Linux platform, bringing a lot of bug fixes and improvements.

The new LibreOffice 3.6.6 has arrived just a week later after another stable, and more advanced version, 4.0.2, was released.

Highlights of LibreOffice 3.6.6:

• Shapes are no longer missing when importing xlsx file format; • A crash that occurred after the Undo operation has been fixed; • The Firefox plugin is now recognized in LibO 3.6; • A crash that occurred when inserting hyperlinks has been fixed; • Send Document as email no longer fails, when the application is installed in a directory with a space.
