The Document Foundation announced a few minutes ago, December 5, that the fourth maintenance release of the LibreOffice 3.6 open source office suite is now available for download for Linux, Mac and Windows platforms.

LibreOffice 3.6.4 is here to solve various issues and regressions, improving the stability and quality of the best open source office app.

"LibreOffice 3.6.4 arrives a couple of weeks after the successful LiMux HackFest, where more than 30 developers have gathered to hack LibreOffice code and work on features and patches," was stated in the official release announcement.

LibreOffice 3.6.4 is distributed as DEB (Debian/Ubuntu) and RPM (Fedora/Red Hat) binaries, as well as source packages. All users are urged to update their LibreOffice installations as soon as possible.
