14 DAY TRIAL // The Document Foundation has announced that LibreOffice 3.6.2 is now available for the Linux platform, bringing a lot of bugfixes and improvements.
According to its developers, the LibreOffice suite has been adopted by an increasing number of private and public enterprises.
Over 500 developers are focusing on stability and quality, adding new features to the legacy code offered by the Document Foundation.
The last public administration to migrate has been the city of Limerick, in Ireland. LibreOffice is now used on all 450 public computers all across town, including the three public libraries, the fire department, the municipal museum and the City Gallery of Art.
The LibreOffice community will gather in Berlin for the second LiboCon October 17th to October 19th. Registrations for the conference will end on October 8th.
