LibreOffice 3.6.1 RC1 Available for Testing

LibreOffice, a free power-packed open-source personal productivity suite that provides users with six feature-rich applications for all your document production and data processing needs (Writer, Calc, Impress, Draw, Math and Base), is now at version 3.6.1 RC1.

LibreOffice 3.6.1 RC1 comes with many bug fixes and improvements, among which we can mention:

• Certain smartart drawings are now properly imported;
• LibreOffice Impress no longer crashes when opening pptx file;
• TABLE borders work properly when merged with cells;
• Search Bar history is no longer empty;
• Checkboxes with text align positions are now longer skewed;
• Autocorrection TWo INitial Capitals now works properly.

Download LibreOffice 3.6.1 RC1 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
