Having picked up the pace when it comes to revealing new products, Lian Li has come forth and made the formal announcement of a chassis based on the PC-B25 “Blue Ring” classic. Known as the Lian Li PC-B25S mid tower, the desktop case seeks to merge high-quality craftsmanship with customization, user-friendliness and silent operation. In fact, the company made a point of keeping all the assets of the original, while enhancing cooling efficiency and reducing sound output.
The Lian Li PC-B25S measures 210x545x490 mm (W.H.D.) and is compatible with micro-ATX and ATX motherboards. As general specifications, the enclosure is built with three 5.25-inch ODD bays and an anti-vibration rubber ring suspension HDD rack, with six 3.5-inch HDD/SSD bays. There are also eight PCI mounting brackets, which means that configurations with CrossFireX or SLI multi-GPU setups are definitely supported. There are also a number of holes in the chassis' plates, for better cable routing, as well as a tool-less cable clamp.
The hardware maker made a point of enhancing cooling through whatever means it could. For instance, special vented brackets on the PCI slots increase the airflow, while their rubber pads reduce the noise and vibration. Furthermore, the PC-B25S boasts two in-take and three exhaust fans (controllable via a fan control switch on the top panel), as well as anti-vibration PSU, fan and ODD mounts. As for I/O options, there is a front and a top I/O panel, with USB 3.0 connectors, an eSATA port and HD audio.

The Lian Li PC-B25S is available in black and will start selling, through local distributors, by the end of the month, priced at US$289.
