Lian Li has been releasing computer cases one after another recently, but, as there is never a shortage of gamers, there is, likewise, never a shortage of demand for newer and better PC components. Gamers and enthusiasts are especially known for being picky when it comes to not just raw performance, but also the look and feel of their machines. As such, they often seek stylish enclosures, with as many LEDs and design features as possible. Lian Li's aluminum-wrought PC-8FI mid-tower, measuring 210 (W) x 460 (H) x 490 (D) mm and weighing 5.85kg, seeks to offer exactly that.

The Lian Li PC-8FI does its best to merge all design elements that are behind the company's products' success on the market. This does not only include a specially modeled front, but also practical design elements, such as a tool-less construction and the top-mounted I/O panel, for easy access. Furthermore, the HDD cage is modular, can slide in and out when needed and comes with thumb screws and an anti-vibration rubber suspension kit.

When it comes to actual specifications, the PC-8FI will try to win the hearts of prospective purchasers through its support for ATX and M-ATX motherboards, six internal 3.5-inch bays, three 5.25-inch bays, eight expansion slots and three 120mm fans (with or without LEDs), two of which are at the front and one at the back. Furthermore, the chassis boasts enough room for graphics cards of up to 285mm in length, as well as pre-drilled water cooling holes and a PSU holder.

Consumers that like to have all the latest technologies on hand will be glad to know that the aforementioned top-mounted I/O panel has a pair of USB 3.0 ports. Additionally, the red version of the enclosure (other colors being black and silver) has a spider-shaped side window, likely reminiscent of the PITSTOP PC-T1. Finally, the product will become available by the end of May, for $189 (black/silver) and $299 (red), respectively.
