The PC-Q19 has support for video cards, despite the size

If you look at the uncovered insides of this case without something to compare to and get the feel of the scale, you might be excused for thinking it's a really, really tall full-ATX desktop or server case. It's not. Instead, it is a very small chassis for mini PCs.

It's also the type of case you can place at the corner of your table, or slip behind your desk so that it is never seen or heard from again.

Not that it's the best idea ever for that to happen, since it will cut you off from the two USB 3.0 connectors on the front and near the bottom.

Anyway, the newcomer is called 22L PC-Q19 and was created by Lian Li, the company that likes to make weird cases, but occasionally dabbles in the normal, like now.

The newcomer is only 160 mm / 6.2 inches wide and has enough room inside for three 2.5-inch hard disk drives / solid state drives (HDDs/SSDs). It also happens to possess a 3.5-inch drive bay, for normal SATA HDDs.

Moreover, and this is one of the most important parts about it, there is space for a VGA graphics card of up to 220 mm / 8.6 inches in length.

Many mini PC or HTPC (home-theater personal computer) cases don't fit add-in video cards, relying instead on the CPU's or APU's integrated GPU.

In addition to significant storage and graphics support, the new Lian Li PC-Q19 supports SFX power supplies. It even has extension cables in case the ones you get with your PSU aren't long enough.

Not that there's a lot of space to stretch them over, but it allows you to reroute them, hide them behind the various nooks and crannies. Both for looks and for airflow.

Moving on, the Lian Li PC-Q19 has rubberized grips and feet, to minimize vibrations and ensure an easy handling. You wouldn't want to accidentally drop it while moving it around.

Other features include pop-off side panels, a 120-mm fan (can be removed by 2 screws), and magnetically attached air filters (it's pretty important to keep dust out when there isn't much room inside the case to spare).

The Lian Li PC-Q19 will sell by the end of the week for a price of $149 through Newegg. That means around €112, although European retailers will probably go with €149 instead. Exchange rates rarely get reflected when it would result in a lower price for customers. Alas.
