Since the gaming market is already swarming with big and strong enclosures, Lian Li decided it would say its piece on the small form factor segment, by showing off the PC-Q11, its latest addition to the Mini-Q Series of miniature PC chassis.

The company designed its product to be as light and compact as possible while still offering the full range of features that such a product should have, plus a certain asset one may not expect.

The PC-Q11 measures 200 (W) x 326 (H) x 260 (D) mm and constructed out of aluminum, a light metal that allows the overall weight to be of only 2.42 kg.

Because of its size, the enclosure can only accommodate motherboards that employ the mini-ITX or the mini-DTX form factors.

Nevertheless, the case still manages to integrate a pair of 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch internal drive bays, plus a 5.25-inch optical drive bay.

What's more, there is a 140mm fan at the front and, quite importantly, two actual USB 3.0 ports, plus audio ports, on the front panel.

For those interested in a reminder, the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 connection allows external storage units, or other compatible USB-connected electronics, to communicate with the host PC at 5 Gbps.

Finally, the offering boasts a pair of expansion slots and support for standard ATX PS/2 power supply units.

Lian Li intends to start shipping this new invention by the end of the month, in four color options. The silver and black versions will cost $95, whereas the red one will sell for $115 and the piano white for $175.

“The new Mini-Q series is now available in four different colors, including black, silver, red and the eye-catching piano white - definitely one of the Lian Li models that power users shall not miss,” states the official press release.
