Lian Li announced earlier today the introduction of a new case designed for housing mini-ITX and mini-DTX systems dubbed the PC-TU20, which is best described as being an aluminum suitcase with a carrying handle.

According to Lian Li, its latest creation was designed for performance-hungry consumers who require a light, compact and versatile chassis as a base for their ultimate portable gaming rig.

As a result, the whole case weights no more than 3.15kg (a bit less than 7 pounds) and it comes with reinforced corners for providing added strength and durability during those long commutes.

Despite its small size, the PC-TU20 still boast a rather impressive list of features, including support for graphics cards measuring up to 300mm (11.8 inches) in length as well as an 140mm front mounted intake fan.

All the air that enters the chassis is then expelled by the fan found inside the power supply unit as well as through a series of vents and exhaust ports.

In order to get to the inside of the case, users can open either one of the two side panels by pushing a release lever found on the back of the case. Putting the panel back on is just as simple, since it only requires a simple push to lock the anchoring pins back into their sockets.

Despite its small footprint, PC-TU200's internal hard disk cage still includes room for up to four 3.5-inch hard drives, as well as for an external 5.25-inch optical drive.

Two expansion slots are also available and these are equipped with a graphics card holder, to secure VGA card during transport.

Moving to the front panel we get to see a wide range of I/O ports, including HD Audio, eSATA, and two built-in USB 3.0 connectors.

The Lian Li PC-TU20 is expected to become available at the end of this month, and its retail price tag will be set at $199, which translates into about 148 Euros.
