You might think that there’s only so many times Liam Neeson’s on-screen daughter can be kidnapped and rescued by her ever so skilled dad, but 20th Century Fox is reportedly in talks with the actor for “Taken 3.”

Considering that he only did the sequel after they basically threw a fortune at him, he will star in the threequel if the money is right, Deadline writes.

“Right” in this context is synonymous with a $20 million (€15.3 million) paycheck.

“I’m told that Liam Neeson is closing a deal in the vicinity of $20 million to reprise his role as Bryan Mills, the retired CIA agent who used his brutal skills after his daughter was kidnapped in France," the e-zine says.

“Neeson was a reluctant participant in the first sequel but got paid in the $15 million [€11.5 million] neighborhood. Now I hear he’s getting another raise, and that EuropaCorp is planning to start production in February,” adds the same media outlet.

To put things into perspective a bit, the entire production budget of the first film was of $25 million (€19.1 million).
