Another day, fresh teasers about Chris Nolan's third and final Batman installment, “The Dark Knight Rises.” This time, it's Liam Neeson who's getting fans all excited about the possibility of a cameo.

Shortly after word got out that the identity of the third main villain in the film had been revealed by accident – Talia al Ghul, Ra's al Ghul's duaghter –, Neeson, who played Ra's in “Batman Begins,” says he too might be back.

In a recent interview cited by AceShowbiz, the actor, who had been spotted on the set of TDKR back in July last year, confirms his presence there, and teases about the possibility of his presumed-dead character to make a comeback.

In other words, Neeson says he was on the set of the new film, even if Ra's was killed at the end of “Batman Begins.”

However, he insists that he has no idea on what Nolan plans to do with the character, which is, word has, just a delicate way of confirming a cameo without being too obvious about it.

“I can tell you nothing about 'Dark Knight Rises', seriously,” the actor says.

“I was on set for maybe an hour-and-a-half and the director didn't tell me anything of what it's about. So, I'm being very honest when I say I have no idea what's going to happen,” he adds.

As we also noted the other day, 12-year-old actress Joey King revealed in a recent interview that she would appear in the film as a “young Talia al Ghul,” prompting speculation that Marion Cotillard would actually play the adult character.

Whether Neeson shot a cameo for a flashback showing father and daughter together is subject to speculation, but seems very likely at this point.

“I play young Talia al Ghul. I can’t give too much away because I promised Mr. Nolan I wouldn’t say anything. There are too many secrets about the character and the movie,” King said.

Chris Nolan has a reputation of keeping even the stars of his films in the dark lest they let plot details slip to the press so, for the time being, it's safe to say that anything is possible.
